Children of all ages can kick off the Dundee Township Public Library's Summer Reading Club Program with 'The Spoon Man' at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16. Jim Cruise, aka 'The Spoon Man,' will have children and adults riveted by his high-energy, musical program. This free program will be held in the library's meeting room, 555 Barrington Ave. (Route 68) in East Dundee. No registration is required. Relay fundraiser

Wool Street Grill & Sports Bar, 800 Feinberg Court in Cary, will host a Relay For Life fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 19. OCD, a local Cary band, will provide live music. Raffle and silent auction tickets will be for sale throughout the night for a variety of great items. One special raffle item for $25 per ticket is an autographed Patrick Kane Blackhawks jersey. You need not be present to win the jersey. The Gould Academy of Dance Arts presents its 27th annual production on June 19-20. 'Radio City USA' will be performed at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 19 and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 20, at the Hemmens, 45 Symphony Way, Elgin. The production will include dancers, ages 2 to adult, who will perform in the styles of jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and tumbling. Tickets may be purchased at Gould Academy of Dance Arts, 732 W. Chicago St., Elgin. Advance tickets are $13 for children and $20 for adults.
